Inflation Sucks
I'd take a 128i.. Keep it naturally aspirated as to not spoil the symphony that is the BMW Inline 6. Twin turbos are for those who need compensating
Of course you do but your glass slipper is a little more money than a 128I Yet it lacks some of the sophistication and touring manners of a 530(inline 6 cars). Yet there is nothing like the sound of a well tuned properly set up American V8
It is a different car built for a different propose just as the mini and smart differ. Don't mean to start a flame war but we each have our likes for our time of life. An ex corvette owner
db, I understand completely. I sort of did things backwards, owned small displacement, high revving cars in the 70s (including two 2002s) and then moved on to V8 American cars in the 90s after GM got it's act together with the Camaro and the Corvette. It's all good and I'll check out the 1 series when they hit our local BMW dealers.
I received a call last week, this week I got the VIN Number, tracked it and it is due to arrive in Baltimore on 4/6, so unless there are any delays it should be here soon.
When I checked the data for the ship, there were 611 smart vins listed. There are also guys on a couple of BMW boards tracking their cars on the same ship
Hey, my car is on the same ship. My dealer told me to expect delivery (barring unexpected delays) in April. WOOT!
