I'm about 30 minutes west of it in Hillsborough. My wife and I took a drive out there last night but they have a gated parking area so we couldn't get in to have a look at em up close. . . .next time we try during business hours

THIS part of the waiting was the worst for me and still is ....waiting AFTER configuring and reading about all the lucky ones who have gotten theirs already. I'm 1174 and about to BUST with anxiety over getting this car!!! I bug the hell out of the dealer all the time but he can't help the system any more than I can at this point.
So take it from one who has REALLY done the waiting game.....sit back and enjoy the Super Bowl today knowing your countdown has begun.

Got my chance to build Sat. the 2nd. With a 1306 # I was told I " MAY " be able to take delivery in the 2nd half of 2008 !!! " MAY " !!! 2nd half of 2008 !?! with a 1306 # !!! wow, I am sad

Yeah, that's what they all say, Jeff. The facts indicate sooner, however. Read up on the threads about reservations, confirming and getting delivery. It's a lot of reading but you'll be enlightened. No guarantees but this is the trend as I see it so far.

Also in reading you'll discover a lot depends on your location.

Well, just back from my daughters baby shower. I did some reading, and am now confused and sad.I am in Kenosha,WI ( on the WI and IL border). The Milwaukee dealer is about an hour north of me, and the 2 Illinois dealers are an hour south. I have been seeing cars on the road for a few weeks now.I had the 1st retail delivery of a P T Cruiser in the state ( and one of the first 100 built, hand built )and knew that would NOT be the case here, but, ouch !!!Seems that location, luck, dealer proximity,model requested, and possibly barometric pressure in Bangalore at high noon will all play a part. Such is life, it couls be worse.
