I have 1232. I recently contacted Smart USA, just to make sure that I had not fallen thru any cracks and I was told that they do have my initial reservation and I should be hearing from them "soon!".

Since she used the Exclaimation Point !, I figured I am not too far off now in this line to get ready to stand in another....The last time I did something like that was when the Johnny Carson Show was still on. I stood in line all night to get tickets for the next days show. Turned around after getting my tickets that morning to stand in another line to wait to see Barry Manilow that evening. I was young and could handle the excitement a lot better then.

Do you think Barry could deliver me my car ??????;)

My res number is 1194 and I got my confirmation the same day (Nov 16) as renah's 1196.

Anxiously awaiting here! Our number is 1263, with the date of June 17th. We had a deer run right out in front of the Neon last week, so right now we are waiting on the insurance company.

BTW, Insurance on a Passion through State Farm was quoted at $263.08 for us.

The quote from State Farm is for a 6 month period. It's about $48 more than what I have been paying on a '97 Neon. Not bad at all for a new car!

I had the same responce when I was also told the reservation # had nothing to do with the confirmation process.

Talked to my sales manager today....wisconsin 400 orders. He didnt have a reservation list, but did tell me that I am something like 11th or 12th on the cancelation list. So being an insider and configuring in sept its looking really good for me. I figure if they have a 10 percent drop out rate im a lock for first quarter.
