This sure is a wild roller-coaster ride. I'm not quite sure why the PAG business plan is so non-committal. Of course, in the end, all of us who have taken receipt of our cars will have long forgotten the battle.....until we look at our scars!

I contacted what I think to be the dealership I will be going to and they have not yet received any names.

My guess here is that there are a few dealerships that are not 100% happy with the terms of PAG now that things have progressed and timelines not being adhered to. Remember this, however: SmartCar is missing out on collecting A LOT of money with each passing day they don't/can't commit to anything. Let's hope that their repair/maintenance system is more efficient.

What REALLY huffs me is the contraditions we keep running into talking to our dealers. When I called Catena a few weeks ago the rep asked me to wait and verified me on a computer where he had all my data. So apparently some dealers DO have our names.

The dealer must have our information because we were invited to test drive back in September from the dealer. This was two days before the regular test drive.

I placed a call to my dealer but have not heard anything.

Hey everyone.....got my email to configure on Friday (12/14)! Soooooo, the configuration process is moving forward! Hallelujah! Now I need to make the decisions. I'll post when I've got it done.

Nope, he prefers the LARGER vehicles. Just me. Yeah, I think my dealership is Cherry Hill.

Sorry KarlTrev your 1244 is NOT up yet...last we heard they were around 1233 and there is some intrigue why some 1227s or 1229s have been passed over....They only get BS answers from Internet Brands 800 number from the brainless twits who don't know anything and are not willing to admit that fact...

But stay tuned..because every thread I have ever hijacked got back on track on a Monday or Friday as posters reported in with the latest info base don the joy of finally receiving the ever important Invite to configure...

Arrogant Fred the Lampasian Huevos buster... grin

I have 1229, I called Smart to make sure I was not lost in the system. The lady on the phone said all my data was in place and I should expect to be notified soon. She also said your zip code has an impact on when you are contacted. My spin on it is that it may have something to do when the dealer that services your zip code is up and running.
There are two dealers in Virginia and I am about an equal distance from both.
I am not in a hurry to get the car, but I would like to finalize the order.
