I'm wondering who's in the same boat I am. I thought in 30 days time my DDE would bump up from 2 years out, nope no change. Is anyone in the north Texas area getting the same results.

DDE July- Sept 2009
Hi RLOVE. I'm a 1222 and reserved and configured the same time as you. My Smart dealer says that the car should be in the port in Mid-June and deliver a week or 2 after that. That means we've been waiting over a year!
I'm in San Francisco. The DDE says 5/10-8/18 today....
I just talked to Allison at the dealership, and she said that my car is definitely on the way. It could be tomorrow or early next month.
She also said that they aren't calling with the thirty day notice any longer since delivery is so sporadic. And, that deliveries used to be around twice a month, but now they get cars almost every week.
I didn't allow myself to get excited until now. Now...bring it on!
Don't pay any attention to the DDE. It's not reliable, and seems to change daily.
I'm a 1222, and from what I'm hearing, my car delivery is imminent.
I reserved on May 7th, configured on December 22. So, for me it looks like it's going to be around a year from reservation to delivery.
RLove,
My DDE never changed. Many of us in the DFW area who reserved at a later date July- Sept are getting pushed further back compared to the rest of the country.
I don't expect to confirm until the end of the year at best.
I'm happy that your delivery is soon. Enjoy your ride.
MY DDE dates would change daily at times. Mine says 5/12 to 8/10 currently. It was suggested that when it was bouncing each day that possibly it was in production at that point. I have a hard time believing that the DDE would be that sensitive that dates would be changing due to that - but, who knows.
Anyway, it's looking like it'll be just about year from start to finish. But, I have friends that reserved just SIX days after me that haven't had any indication of their car coming before Fall. It's confusing - I just hope that everyone is pleasantly surprised, and their car gets here sooner than expected.
