Dallas DDE 2 years, or longer

Randy- you are lucky! We have identical dates, etc. and mine won't be here for at least 1 1/2 more months.
So, no one can assume that So. and No. California are getting their cars sooner. It'll put me out 13-14 months wait!

Good luck with that Gary. I'm still waiting to Config after 1 + year wait. Who is they, the Dallas dealership or Smart Mothership.

I feel for you guys in the Dallas area. I am 1289 (close to 1300) and am getting close to the DDE date. The frustrating thing is as I get closer the date has now started to move back out. 9/3 as of this morning. last month it was the beginning of August.

DFW will have a new Smart Dealership in FT Worth this Fall, can anyone tell me how this affects the reservation priority list. Will the new Dealer get some of the Dallas Reservists or does it start anew ? I've asked the FT Worth Dealership and they don't seem to know either.

I reserved our 2nd Smart 6/21/08. There is still no DDE, which is fine with me, because I am hoping for a 2010 model, because I hope they might have a few new options. No sense changing to a 2009 since we have a 2008 with only 2000 miles which we love. We are assigned to Dallas dealership, but I think that the reason there is no DDE might be because a new dealership might be in the plans, Perhaps Tyler Texas, or Texarkana.

The DDE is usually an 18 month window, so you must be further out than that. The Smart Dealership in Ft Worth should open in Dec or Jan. I didn't hear any info about a new store in East TX. I'm still waiting to config, reserved Aug 07.

Reservation #1574 here. No config yet, or ETA. From what I hear on another thread, people in other areas with higher #'s have already config'ed. Looks like they are not going in order of reservation #.
