When I ask about the FW dealer, the Smart Dallas says no way. And smart still dosnt show it. I moved mine to get it within the year they quoted me.

Funny, When I called Smart and they told me the Ft Worth store ( Park Place Ft Worth ) will open in the first quarter 2009. Or call Park Place in north Ft Worth yourself.

Watching the noon news (channel 8) they had mentioned w/ a clip the Ft Worth Smart is having It's grand opening. Maybe North Texas won't be as slow for new reservations.

I just took delivery monday Dec.15 was told the FtWorth store
would open in Feb. My delivery was 8 days short of 19 months.

Other then getting exactly what you want, I would strongly consider looking for one on CarMax. I have noticed that they now have 7 different models and they are priced below what the dealer in San Antonio is asking for one. OTOH they do have a few to a lot of miles but hey if you can't wait this maybe the way to go.

Thats why I moved my Rez to Round Rock. The saleswomen at Dallas kept telling me my delivery would be 11-13mo, the 12-16, then 18-24, then the last time I asked they said 24 or so. Its ok. Round Rock isnt that far.

I live in Dallas and have been waiting forever....I was told 12 to 18 months... my last 4 numbers on my reservation number is 1581....I just got my little calendar thru th email but have never had any email sent to me.
