Good news and bad news the estimatior is up and running at the smartusa web site. The bad news is that with a 1400 number the estiamator is reporting Estimated ETA Date: March 2009 to May 2009 so over 18 months from order date to estimated delivery....

My local dealer was stating like 3 months. but this is stating like November 2008 to January 2009. (which is way to long) I wonder which is correct?!?!?!?! I mean I have been confirmed already will it really take that long to build and deliever my vehicle??? Just my 2 cents of info there (sorry for the rant)

Believe your dealer. If you already configured, delivery is usually within 90 days after.

Actually mini me that is not always true. The Delivery Date Estimator is probably closer to being correct. I have heard that some of the far off dates have shifted earlier on further tries.

Unfortunately, Mousecat, the estimator is NUTS! I configured on January 28, 2008. Even allowing for additional interest in the car and longer build times, they are telling me that I cannot expect to get my car until August 2008 to October 2008. For me, that's more than 14 months after reservation and eight months after configuration. It should be, according to what I've seen, no more than four months from configuration based on people in my own part of the country. My dates haven't shifted since I first checked. Believe me, I keep trying!

Verry interesting you oredered 2 months after me november vs december and are showing a delivery date way ahead of mine ( 2009)...
