Little John - Call your dealer and ask for the VIN #. If they have the VIN the car has probably been built. My DDE shifted all over the place last month and my car is on the boat from Bremerhaven, due in July 19 at Baltimore. I know my car was built sometime between June 27 and July 3. I received the e-mails from smart 1 and the dealer in Lynnfield, MA. I'll be talking with them today on arrival date and the rest of the useful information. The time for delivery is rapidly approaching!
I just got an email saying I'm in the 90 Day window and gave info about my assigned dealer. Does that mean they are starting production on my car? I should spend my weekend cleaning up and detailing a few of these other cars to get rid of to help clear out my property/driveway.

I talked with the good folks at Lynnfield. They gave me a VIN number for tracking. It looks like the car was built on July 1st, shipped on July 2nd, put on the Tamesis on July 9th. The Tamesis is due into Baltimore on July 22nd. My target pickup date is August 2nd. WooHoo!

Is the delivery date reported in your profile: 7/24/08, your current DDE?? I HOPE!!
For the last 3 weeks for so, the start of my DDE has been June 30th. My dealer several days ago informed me the ETA on my car was mid July. Well, this morning I wake up to a new DDE start date of June 23rd... I wonder what triggered the change??
sounds about right. Today is my day 419 and my DDE moved away. Today it's 6/23/08 after being stable for a couple of weeks. I think the boat docked!
