I'm in Dayton, OH, and I believe my res no. is 1352, made on 9/14/07. It started giving me dates of 8/2009 - 10/2009, moved up a few times to 4/2009 - 6/2009, then I started getting this message the last several weeks -
Estimated ETA Date:
Your vehicle delivery date cannot be estimated at this time. Please continue to check the Delivery Date Estimator from time to time for updated information. For additional assistance, please contact smart customer service at 1.800.smart.USA (762.7887) or send an email.
Any idea what's going on here?
Thanks,

Just means that you have moved out of the 18 month window. You'll get a date when it moves back in. Mine has been moving weekly, first in then out again.
DDE just moved over the weekend from Mar - May 09 to Feb - Apr 09 Of course, it's happened before and moved back to my original date! It's just fun to watch. I won't get serious until after I configure (hopefully in the next month or two)
Reserved one on 7/15/2008. I called a local dealer (Sugar Land Texas) and was given the 18-month delivery time. So..maybe around Jan of 2010. Does this sound correct?
Went to the San Diego Smart Center to see how my baby is coming along. I am still in the 'C' section waiting for labor and delivery . I got a R11 print out and it has:
Partial VIN - A17763
Build Date - 7.31.08
ETA Date - 9.01.08
DDE - 8.02.08 - 10.31.08
Res# 1306 7.30.07 - funny how it's going to be built 1 year and 1 day after I ordered it. Maybe I should throw a birth day party.
