Me either! I didn't expect to have any hopes of seeing mine until Aug 7 and the very earliest with a realistic date of Aug 21. I hope the GM at Cherry Hill smart knows his stuff and isn't giving me false hope. Keep your fingers crossed: an early delivery for me, likely, means one for you as well!

Can someone please tell me how most know the DAY for example; my due date shows Sept. 08-Nov. 08(Moved up), yet I see people actually have a day included with the month and year. Help!!!

This is the DDE data I have collected since early June. It matches well with the data originally supplied by Minnitou and I extend my thanks to him. I have passed along incomplete versions to a number of folks and I trust that it has been helpful to each of you. My apologies for the spacing, but I haven't figured out how to makes the tabs show up properly in the messages.

We picked up the smart today, 7/31. It's amazing how wide the grin is on my wife's face from driving it. She likes having it in manual and shifting herself. A throw-back to the days when we drove manual transmission cars.

Regarding the infamous 11 day dde window, where it appears you'll never catch up because for every new day, the dde moves one day futher away: you car is now built..and ready to be transported to the port of Bremerhaven.

When you get to the days where you are inside the DDE and it follows you 4 days behind, your car is At the port ready to be loaded.

When it stops following you and remains steady, you're in the process of being loaded and/or are on the ship enroute to the US.

Today,7/31/08, my dde remains steady (since 7/25) at 7/21 with the car having been loaded onto the vessel TAMPA on 7/28/08 with a bil date of 8/10/08, which, I believe, is the scheduled arrival date at Baltimore.

I'm close, just not as close my dealer led me to believe.

I think it's sad that the information we are able to interpolate through this group is more accurate than the information being provided by the dealers, who, by right, should be the experts. Oh well, we'll get it figured out!!!

My car is also on the Tampa! The W&W website shows our cars will arrive on 8/6 not 8/10....
