Yea, mine went back to it's original date too! I was originally Mar - May 09, then about a month ago moved to Feb - Apr 09 and last week back to Mar - May 09 ! Who can tell, it's all a waiting game anyway; nothing to lose sleep over .

I'm waiting until I take delivery of my smart before I place my order for my next smart! The better half already said we need 2 and we don't even have 1 yet ! Who'd a thunk !!! BTW, when I was at SCI a couple of weeks ago, Max told me to expect a 24 month waiting list for new reso's!

My DDE was Aug08 - Oct08 for quite a while. Today, it says it cannot be estimated at this time. I'll keep checking back. Can't depend on calling the 800 number for any real information based on my past experiences doing so.

I've also been "dropped" from the DDE. How annoying. I'm a 1433 from Dec of '07.

Don't know what's up with the DDE. Mine is showing up today. However, the end of July - first week of Aug `08 it had remained steady (for over a week). Since Aug 4th it has increased a day for each day. I check it every morning and without fail it keeps going up. On 8/4/08 it was at 7/1 - 9/29. Now on 8/30/08 it's at 8/2/08 - 10/1/08. I'm in the window but mine was one of the recall's due to the paint issue. So the whole DDE thing may be mute.

Our reservation # is 1315. Since Friday, Aug. 5, the DDE has changed to "delivery date cannot be estimated at this time". Before this it was Sept. '08 - Nov. '08. I've called the 800 # twice and they say just to keep checking. Any ideas what's going on?

is it possible that you hit the '09/'08 cutoff? what color did you order?

Not sure if this input helps... I had a date range of March 2009 to June 2009. One day I checked it out and it said my DDE was not found.

I called Smart and they said the reason was that it was time for me to configure. Sure enough a couple of weeks later got a configuration email.

My delivery date range is now 10/08 to 1/2009.

My date jumped from March '09 to Oct '08 after I configured too.

Same story. When I configured it jumped up to Oct-Dec 08. Makes me think that once you configure it's no longer a guess and the car is being made and transported fairly quickly.
