Dropped from DDE

Same thing happened to me. My DDE was Aug to Oct '08 and then "can't estimate....". I contacted my dealer (smartcenterKnoxville) and was referred to the regional manager. His response was that they were working on "areas of dealer responsibility" and that it should change soon. That was several weeks ago, and no change ....
By the way, I reserved June '07, confirmed Feb. '08. I am a 1270. Interesting to hear that this has happened to others. Do any of you know if a new dealer is opening closer to you any time soon? I thought Nashville was getting a dealer, but I guess not.

We did hit the '09/'08 cut-off. Originally had configured yellow '08 and then asked to configure again for an '09 since yellow was no longer available. So configured rally red. Maybe our color choices are causing the delay???? I would have chosen differently if I had known! Oh well, guess we'll get a smart someday!

I have never had a DDE. I configured a few weeks ago and still don't have a DDE.

I configured in late August for 2009 and have not had a DDE since the first week of September. I selected red since the yellow wasn't offered anymore, also. Interesting... Frustrating!!!! Ugghhh! It is especially frustrating when noone is talking let alone providing any answers. Even if they were bad answers, they would be better than nothing.

I checked mine, I'm 1302, reserved on July 26, 2007, Confirmed on September 05, 2008, and had a DDE of Nov. 08-Feb 09. Now it is saying that the date cannot be estimated. I thought perhaps it might be due to the worldwide credit crunch and its effect on commerce, but no one at Smart is telling us anything but to check back in a couple weeks.

Got the Confirm email last week, DDE... Feb-April 09. Still no actual date
