Has the forums reservation # prediction pattern failed?

Has our date stamp, first to reserve first to configure, predictions failed to live up to promises?

I say NOT, although we are now seeing a wide disparity in the number sequences that are invited to configure their smart, I for one would bet on the fixed # of cars needed to support each dealer as driving the configuration invite sequence. If you are in Orange County, CA, your reservation to delivery will be longer than if you are in Kentucky, Oh Well. Over all this is still a great way to see where we all fall.

if smart keeps dishing cars out evenly to all regions or dealers, the number prediction pattern will not hold up...

and living in Denver, my wife and I are just fine with that... surely there can't be that many of us here that reserved...

I would have to say, its NOT first come first serve. I just configured a 1337... we have 1200's still waiting. Its all about location it seems.

I really don't think that most of us seriously subscribed to that notion...at least I didn't. The number system was proven to be a time stamp of the reservation process, and thats it!
