How does smart usa contact reservation holders about Confirm/config?

As far as I have heard smart usa contacts you via email first off and if they don't get responses they email. I recently updated some info and was very pleased to get a confirmation call afterwards.

In the beginning, IB was sending out invites to config once a week, have we seen a similar pattern with 30 day notices?

I GOT MY EMAIL TO CONFIRM ON 2-15-08 AT 4:05 PM AND THEY ONLY GAVE ME UNTIL 2-23-08 TO CONFIRM**-8 DAYS, SO YOU BETTER CHECK YOUR EMAIL SEVERAL TIMES A DAY.
I CONFIRMED IMMEDIATELY, BUT NO MATTER WHAT I DID, I COULD NOT ADD THE ALARM SYSTEM, SO I WENT AHEAD & CONFIRMED, THEN I CALLED SMART USA & GOT THE ALARM ADDED.
