How long between reservation and confirmation - Page 7

How did you pull that one off? I waited from October 07 through August 08 just to configure. Their System is not right.

Try a 8/24/07 Reservation and still no Config. What system.

Ok, It's been 13 months from Reservation with no Conformation or Config. Lets make that 13 Months plus a day forgot Feb 29. Ok who can top that.

#1629 reserved June 19th 2008 and my dde started working today Oct 09 - Dec 09. Visited my dealer a week ago and he said I might expect delivery by June 09. He also told me I might configure near the end of this year. We'll see.

I will be picking up a new Smart Passion (red with black safety cell, red interior, tinted windows, and floor mats) which we will be auctioning at our school fundraiser in mid November in Oklahoma. I am hoping we can get more than our cost of $14977. If we do not get a minimum bid of $14977 I will be purchasing and reselling the car. Just an FYI that this car could be out there for sale in mid November.

Reserved 4-07-08, #1558, got my 1st DDE on Sept. 16, '08. OCT - DEC 09, then on Oct. 1, '08, got new DDE of AUG - OCT 09. And then on October 3, '08, received a different DDE of April - JUNE 09.

Just having fun watching it move, since didn't have anything to watch, but "cannot estimate delivery at this time" for 5 months. I know it will change many times between now and delivery, hoping it will be about a year from reservation to get it.

Hi Octavias,I'm confused now and want to call Smart, as you and I have the same reservation number and reserved on the same exact date. For both our order benefit something is not right. You need to also re-confirm how this happened.
Please let me know what you find out and I will do the same.
BTW I'm in Chicago.

"dd1", if I knew how to get you to the head of the line, I would. I hope the folks at smart would take a look at this post and try to fix this problem. Being remote I think has something to do with it. In 3 minutes I can have another sh#@ty excuse.
# 1386, reserved 18 October, 2007. Confirmed 26 August, 2008. Date from the Virginia Beach dealer is 11 November, 2008. DDE is 23 Oct 2008 ~ 21 Jan 2009.
