kuni is actually out of vancouver wa. they started with a cadillac dealership in beaverton or (near portland). kuni also has the portland smart center as well.
they own several lexus dealerships. check the websight www kuniauto com

My bad, got bad info from another thread. Of course Kuni is in Colorado all ready. Good luck on the smart dealership! And I know if they don't end up buying a smart, you'll be sure to direct your potential customer to another fine Kuni dealership!

It is not unusual for Alaskans to pickup new vehicles in the Northwest such as Seattle, Portland or parts of Idaho. I have spoke with two Northwest dealers who are willing to sell me the car but Corporate doesn't want to send forward the paperwork to them since my physical address is in Alaska. Now when I told them my plan was to drive the vehicle in the area of the Northwest on vacation it didn't matter to Jerome (customer service) since they knew my physical address was here, and they wouldn't sell it to me until either I move south to a state that has an area dealership or they find someone to establish a dealership here. I wouldn't worry about it. With a 1333 reservation number, you would not receive your car until 2009, regardless of your location. By then, the dealarship issue will probably be taken care of.

We don't know that they aren't going to get into the 1300s this year. Anything can happen.

I can only hope that living in this mass populous of DC means that my 1352 will scrape in sometime this year
