I guess I'm not real smart. My VIN number is on the dash readily available to be read through the windshield. Sometimes I block out my license plate and sometimes I don't when posting pictures online. But anyone and everyone around here can see my license plate number. So what if someone knows my name, addy and phone number? I'm a prior service Marine with weapons and I know how to use em. Maybe I'd just like someone to give me an excuse ...err ... reason ... umm ... opportunity?

Your VIN, Model (pure/pasion/cab), Color package (body/cell/interior), and if you purchased the upgrades which package (comfort, etc. by code #) I can then have enough data to determine the center digit codes and the serial number of your particular vehicle in relation to other similar smarts sold.

what i was getting at is when you're online, even though you post 'anonomously', you still give out alot of info about your self, feeling safe that no one 'knows' you. when you post your "VIN", then someone can find out other things. i'm not a paranoid person, just have seen this done to people in the past and i hate to see it done to anyone, even people i don't know.
now your "VIN" in the windshield and your license plate, that's a different story. i don't have my VIN plate covered, never have. but someone walking by and writing down your VIN is only after one thing....YOUR CAR. they know nothing else about you and probably don't care. but when you give so much of yourself in forums such as this, then add to that the info one can get from your "VIN"? why not just be smart, do the 'safe' thing and NOT post your VIN......you know, "Better Smart than Sorry"?????

oh, and not to be a "Smart AZZ", but why use the name "angel"? why not just post your REAL name, ACTUAL address and phone number here for all to see?? while you're at it, throw in your SSN too.
you just might get some more 'opportunities' THIS way.....;)
