Reservation Question

I have been interested in Smarts even before they hit the U.S. The moment they came to our shores I new my next car would be a Smart. Originally I was going to pick one up at my local dealer this summer. However, I ran into financial problems (aka lack of summer work and my increasing college cost) and had to delay it until next summer.

Now here's the question, should I reserve a Smart now so I can have it next summer or should I wait? I've read on the forums that people have gotten their new smarts delivered anywhere from 2-3 months to 12-14 months.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Old Delivery dates were a year, Now they can show up in a month, or just go pick one up at your smart center. They have stock this year. No need to order if your looking at next year, Unless gas hits $5 a gallon over the winter, then they might disapear again
