micro cars

I own a fine car a 1947 crosley, this car was shunned by the americans because of the desire to drive bigger and bigger automobiles. but the gas was only 12cents a gallon. If you look back in history several small cars have been available to americans Austin American, Nash Metropolitian, several were imports I recall several small cars DKW, Renault, Simca, Singer, Fiat, Angela, and the list go on.

I mentioned this on another thread. However, it fits here as well.

In this day and age, you would think that they would have hired someone with some savvy who know how to use the internet to personalize consistent communications. For a company that plans on living and dying on the Internet they need to step up their game. I would hope somebody is listening but hey, they are sold out for the first year so why try harder, right?

Hey, Rideon,

I reserved the day after you did, and called smartusa this weekend. I was told that the car was "in production." They couldn't tell me how long a process this would be (do any forum members know?), but assured me there would be a "tool" (I'm not EVEN going there) to tell them exactly where a particular reservation stands by the middle of next month.

Soo... I think it's safe to assume we're in production. Or something.
Argh.

It only takes four hours to produce a smart, Their idea of production must include a lot of other stuff.
