As long as coments such as Ed Denn's are here someone needs to address them. I'm not the bad guy here but I appreciate your support. If you've noticed (probably not) I haven't posted in days. (Just to my friends in the NJ branch). But each time someone makes uncalled for remarks, I'll be happy to reply. Kind of a devils advocate to help in the decision making here.

I belong to a Yaris Forum, Karl, thanks. But I am also a smart fortwo enthusiast.

We don't need any sub forums, angel. As long as I am a member here I can post in any topic I want. As someone said a few paragraphs up. If you don't like it, change the channel.

Bottom line, leave me alone and I'll probably fade away. __________

Yaris Bob self apointed defender of Toyota why would we want to lose your insightful point of view. If I am willing to spend $17,125 for a yaris I get a subcompact with a back seat that almost has all the saftey features of my microcar that I wanted in the first place, yes Bob stick around. As a reminder I found exactly what I wanted.

Before I made my decision, I found the comments about all cars to be helpful. Now that I have my smart (whoo Hoooo) I know that for me it was the right choice....soooo much fun. I agree that the wait is awful but sure is worth it unless you really need a car NOW. This little thing has even won over my hubby who originally wanted me to get the Fit. Other cars are good transportation. Smart is a lot more.

SmartBob, Yaris Bob, or plain 'ol Bob........ I've got 8 other motor vehicles here, and while the smart is very very good, all things being equal I'd ride the Yamaha Silverado full time if it didn't rain, or get freezin' cold. Don't let these negative folks run you off. I looked at a Yaris, a Scion xa, and an Aveo. All fine cars. The smart is uniquely different. But hey, STAY.

But you're so fun to have around! I'll stop replying when someone prys the laptop from my cold dead fingers.

Wow, I think we have bonded here, on some level. I'll still be around. I'll try not to step on so many toes when I can.
