1373 represents the date you placed your $99 deposit, October 5, 200 days after reservations began. Expect your car at least 200 days after the first deliveries begin next week.
I called SmartUSA on Friday and asked if the confirmation emails will continue. They said absolutely, they have been going out according to them.
In other threads, folks have reported that the Smart USA rep told them that no confirmations had gone out in the previous two weeks (New Years week and last week).
OK, here is the latest, the last four digits of my Res # is 1283.
Not sure that it matters at all.
I had called the Milwaukee dealer, and spoke with a gentleman named Ryan, Great guy, he suggested I call the 1800 smart Usa #, so I did, I spoke a gal named "Jessica" she said I will be contacted in the next few weeks, so to me few = 2 weeks, well it has now been 3 1/2 weeks since she told me this, I called Ryan back he stated, I might want to call the 800 # back for upadates as he had no info stating what Jessica had told me. So today I called ...... the 800 # LOL what a funny, I think they read from a script, and finally, I was able to speak to a supervisor and she said "No way" should I have been told this info from smart USA... I feel with the technology in todays wonderful world, there has to be some type of Data base, that can estimate where you are in que... Its not like I need to get this vehicle this month at all, but I feel if I am told one thing and even it is half correct It would be fine, but such an Off the wall response from 1 800# confuses and frustrates me. Has anyone else experianced this? Or maybe I am not asking the correct questions the right way for the phone people to answer?

Your reservation was made 110 days or over three months after the first reservations were made back in March. We are just getting our cars this month. Then thousands of reservations came in before you made your decision. smart will send you a confirmation request about six months prior to when they can ship the car to you.

I was informed and I asked her to repeat it, (I wanted to put her on speaker phone) by 1 800 # Jessica, I will have my car by the end of the first quarter of 2008.
To me that is latest March of 2008...
