I remember when the first US smarts came in IB/Smart took off a few weeks and it seems like they have stopped sending config invitations again.

At the time one of the smart apologist here said that they wanted to hold off on inviting any more configurations until after they had made sure everything was going well with the new deliveries. Sounded stupid at the time and it still does but what do I know?

So, what now. Did they have to take off to make sure everything goes well with the much ballyhooed logistical tracking tool.

When was the last batch? Maybe they are constraining it to a monthly basis, then producing that batch, etc. Some manufacturers do that, only accept the orders to be placed for allocations once a month..

janaugust posted he got his configuration invite last week; a mid-1400s who reserved in January! Just 3 months from reserving to configuring - very unusual based on other posts; should have a car by the end of July.
