..OK you people..the racing of the RC's will start right after the Dragon Drool contest...since the frequency might be the same on most of these cars we can have a small track set-up...paper cups are great corner markers...and have "qualifying" time laps..and let the fastest/baddest drivers duke it out in the end...

jetfuel...I'll hold the drinks while you race...not for long..

OMG! Are you planning to use it to compete with these $20 cars?

Who wants to claim the 2 extras I have and do you want red or blue?
It'll be physically impossible for the parents to allow me to drive to Chicago (especially for a R/C, or a "toy" in their words)

Can I have that red one?

P.S. I have an old XMODS Ford F-150 chassis with a Stage 2 motor and Top Speed gear ratio that might work for a R/C 'busa conversion...

There is a Rite Aid here and picked up one today. When I first went in to the toy aisle, they were not there. Upon asking the manager, I was shown to the Seasonal aisle where the pre-holiday toys including the smart were located. So don't give up easily if you don't find them right away. There were several red ones, about 3 here. So, Neon, if you want one, let me know and I can send one to you via UPS. Still cheaper than driving to Chicago. Tax is 9.25%
The turn signal lites up yellow but does not blink to show direction of turn.
Head lights lite up with forward or reverse travel. It is basically a forward and backward, left and right little car. all or nothing. It is still smart.
Neon, I'd be delighted to assist you in getting your first smart.

That would make my week! (driving the smart made my summer)

I called up a few Chicago Rite Aids...They say that they have no clue what I'm talking about...

I just bought one at my local Rite Aid. I never shop at Rite Aid so thanks for mentioning on this forum. They only had two color choices: Blue with silver tridion and Red with silver tridion. Inspect the car carefully before you buy it. One had a broken windshield (hit by a small stone?) and another had a scratch.

This car really scoots; It's really an outdoor toy.

According to early posts, either blue or red, both with silver trids...

But get some model car paint and paint the trid black!

Sorry, but no. Silver tridion, BLACK smile radiator surround. Black top and rear Hatch. Tach and clock pods!
No paddle shifters.
Red is kind of a Nissan red more of a crimson than a red red.
