Pure parts on a "BRABUS"!!!! come on not even a glove box! I wish smart would stop thinking we are that stupid to crave a "special EDition" just because they put some odd bits on a standard pure. Give us a ED with some new and different looks, different panels..NOT JUST A DUMB COLOR.
Here is a thought put some in hub motors in the smart, 4 of them. redesign the plastic panels to be more efficient in drag. LED the heck out of the car including headlights. Put in a good sound system with a DIGITAL amp in it how about a 9 inch touch screen (i-pad). THEN ask for a premium.. you'll get it. instead of masking up a regular smart.

I'm all for a Electric smart. I hope that there will be normal color choices and the green color is a option, not standard.

I ride my bike to work 2x/week. My bike route takes me through a neighborhood that occasionally has a Tesla with CA MFG plates parked in front. Those plates are distributed to car manufactures only, so I've guessed that that house is where a Tesla employee works, as Tesla is local to me here in Silicon Valley.

I knew Tesla put one of their motors in a smart. What a ride that would be! Imagine my surprise when I saw a smart parked in front of that same house with MFG plates! I stopped and knocked on the door, but there was no answer. I haven't seen that smart parked there since. I've thought about knocking again anyway. Maybe one day I will.

I'd pay money to drive that around the block just once. Definitely an "E" ticket!

I am waiting (and have told smartusa) to PAY IN FULL to be the first owner of a smart ED in the USA?
They still are not taking reservations, and don't know what the purchase price will be.
