State Farm $230.81 Full coverage w/$500 deductable.

Also insured, 1995 Toyota Tacoma, 2007 Kawasaki ZZR600, 2008 Polaris RZR, but only the tacoma counts with the multi-car discount.

That just doesn't even sound right. Are you trying to insure a gray market vehicle? Or do you have a less than stellar driving record? Try getting a vin from the dealership of one of the model vehicles and then get an estimate using that.

Wow. Are you a teenage male with accidents or tickets? I added my Smart to my CSAA policy and it ended up costing $169 for 6 months.

I went with Liberty Mutual too... Got the best rate out of 9 other companies I tried. They work with smart directly.

Here is the link: Liberty Mutual Smart Car

i used to have a s2000 which is the most expensive vehicle under $50k to insure. progressive wanted more for the smart making it their most expensive vehicle under $50k to insure. i called around and rate fluctuated over $1k per 6 months between insurance companies. it's a very wild fluctuation. fyi, im 25 male with no tickets or accidents.

Geico quoted me $310/6 months (in addition to my two current cars). I have about 1-2 speeding tickets in the last 7 years (thats how long they track right?) and 1 claim (my wife rear ended someone last year in her Mazda 3, $5K repair).

I'm guessing Geico's profile for you and me is quite different.

obviously there must be something in your profile which is not accurate. I would think by age 25 your rates should be lower. Have you asked for a breakdown of the quotes, that is, is it the car coverage or your liability component driving the rate up?

i actually found a cheap rate, ill just have to switch from progressive (which ive used for 9 years). i wanted to let people know that the insurance rates seem to vary an extreme amount between companies.
