Tell your insurance company to look under Mercedes Benz; they should find the 451 there!

State Farm quoted $295 / 6 mo's. with multi-car and home discount. And that's in the Drunk Driving Capitol of America...New Mexico.

My insurance is 432.00 for six months. I also have other vehicles and house insurance with same company (EMC). I not crying too much about it, I was expecting way more. My daughter pays the same price through a farmer's insurance co.

haha yeah...its the age factor.......It was a quote for me being 18!!!!!!!!!! yikes...guess i will buy a cheap car, with cheap insurance. Save up for 4 years and buy the car when i'm 21 and my insurance will go down...so i hear.

Geico's good to me

I have insured with Geico for 25+ years and the premium for my Smart is about $300/6 months. They use lots of discounts - good driver, multi-car,affiliations, anti-theft, etc.

i don't think i paid $5,000/year for insurance when i was 18.
i still think there's something quirky with your quote.

Maybe 18 with a DWI or something! You really need to check some other places and try to get a valid VIN to use for the quote just to eliminate the vehicle variables here.
