Insurance?

Hello out there, i am still waiting for my call, but in talking to the dealership here in Dallas they told me next month for sure? My question is has any one gotten quotes on car insurance for our cars? when i last checked my agent in December i was told he did'nt have any prices yet. I would like to hear from any one out there.

Mine is around $452/6 months with multiple car discount and homeowner discount. Profile, single and 33 no history of accidents or traffic violations. I've been kinda baffled by such a high rate since I've been reading people paying for a lot lower for 6 months.

FYI don't go to Allstate. They gave me a quote of my current car $710/6 months and $685/6 months for the Smart and they don't seem to care and try to match offers.

Try GEICO. The rates are much cheaper.

Farmers quoted me $672 for 6 months. I have a 88 little Toyota pickup I insure through them for $405 for 6 months. Time for me to find a new company I think.

Try Esurance

I was with Good Sam for many years. Started out really cheep .... but after 8 years our rates were $1,200+ for 6 months (no accidents, good driver discount). My wife and I started looking around and we're now insured by Esurance, 3 cars, for $623/6 months.

good luck!

re-posted from other thread ...

Allstate - $266/6 mo (or $512/yr) - NW 'burbs of Chicago 100/500 comp/collison deductible - new car replacement if stolen or total lost ... this is actually less than my Mazda3 5-door ... quite pleased
