BUMP

I also used the 3rd Brake PULSAR - GoMiniGo

Took all of about 1 minute to install (including removing and reinstalling the light!)

Has it been delivered yet?

I installed my Pulsar, and my LED 3rd brake light a few days ago. Both are working as designed. But, I am going to pull the Pulsar out and switch from Fast Flashes to Slow Flashes. The Fast is really too fast, IMO.

My thoughts exactly

I changed mine the first day I installed it

Was behind and to the left of a new-looking city passenger bus the other day in Charlotte. It came to a stop and besides the standard brake lights, there were 2 horizontal strips of LEDs about a foot long and about 8 inches spacing between them in the center of the bus. They came on with the regular brake lights, but they were FLASHING. So apparently a flashing 3rd brake light is legal in North Carolina. I was passing by, so I didn't see if it stopped flashing after a certain amount of flashes.

I think I'd be careful about generalizing from a city bus to a passenger car. It might be sorta like saying "I saw an ambulance with a flashing light and a siren so they must be OK for my personal car".... wouldn't want you to end up with a ticket.

See your point, but I'd think they'd have a hard time prosecuting that, seeing as they're both motor vehicles subject to the same traffic laws (red lights, stop signs, speed, right-of-way, turn-signals, brake lights, etc.). I'll research it and see what I can find out.
