It might sound crazy, but I've found a dinner fork works great to remove the pin out of the plastic rivets. It removes them without damaging the rivet whereas when I used real tools the rivet pins were prone to getting damaged.

Instead, take the clips off the Tridon and slip them back into their slots in the sills, and then push the whole thing straight back on the car. There are even spiffy little notches in the sill slots to help you get the clips in the correct position to line up with the studs on the Tridon. That crazy "slide the sills back up on the clips" business is just a quick trip to frustration and scratched panels.

Cheers,

Thank you ... Thank you. I almost did go crazy, but I thought that the pins had to be screwed into the shell.

Do you have the stock # for the clip?

I am sorry to be very dumb when it comes to Smart cars, but is it possible to replace the panels of the Brabus? Also, is it possible to put different colors on each side? Thanks in advance!

Actually, that was the intent of Swatch when the conceived of the car, where you could change panels to suit your mood, outfit or the season!
