I will not be able to split it behind the glove box without splicing the wires. You can always get one of these earphone splitters and just plug them in the glove compartment. You can pick them up in your local "Shack" (aka Radio Shack) or any other electronic store.

Yea, I know how to split the 1/8th in but that requires me to unplug the radio constantly. Does someone have an extra cable they can part with and a way to swap the cables?

I could offer you a few solutions with the simplest being the aux connector with 2 sets of RCAs coming out of it. You would have to make sure to shut down the XM radio before connecting the iPod though. I could also offer you a charging iPod connection with a set of RCAs attached for the XM radio. Again with this one you would have to make sure to turn off the XM before connecting the iPod. The last thing I could do for you is make you a unit that will automatically switch audio when you turn on the iPod.

Could you find a replacement 3.5mm jack that switched from the pass-through XM radio to the inserted iPod when plugged in? Not for me, just an idea.

I don't have any RCA inputs/outputs.

I am not sure how a passthrough would keep the jack in the glovebox and allow a second jack to my xm raido.

XM always goes through the wire and a pass-through jack is in the middle such that the unplugged iPod allows the XM to pass through yet the plugged-in iPod replaces the signal with its own through the mechanics of the jack. It's Blitzsafe I was asking since he was "offering solutions" I thought he was looking at providing you with the parts and wiring.

Sounds complicated. Just want to run an extran jack off the raido to my xm raido and leave the one in the bix alone.
