SOLD-Almost-New Full Brabus suspension - PRICE REDUCTION

Only 1000 miles on the set-up.

Lowers front & rear 10mm. Great for those who want to firm up the ride, but don't want extreme lowering.

It takes corners very flat

$600 + shipping
Please PM if interested

tbone, how do you define firm? Is the ride harsher than the stock suspension? Does the Brabus set up improve the way the car reacts to potholes and manhole covers? Last, your car has larger wheels and tires; any comments how the Brabus suspension handles and rides with stockers? Thanks!

Hi, I have the euro version of this set up on my smart. I put it on before I had the Brabus wheels. The ride is very good with or without larger wheels. The ride is slightly firmer than stock but I think it handles bumps much smoother, the suspension absorbs them more than stock. The rocking when shifting is much less and the car corning and side roll is much better than stock. These springs do not drop the car down much approx 10 cm , but give it a better stance. Brabus designs their parts for performance and driving /ride quality. They manly are in the business of tuning High Dollar Benz. I personally think the ride is much better than stock. Gasman

By firm, I mean a nice, sportier ride over stock suspension, but not harsh. I am quite impressed by this setup. I agree with Gasman's comments that the Brabus is geared more towards performance than looks (thus the 10mm drop).

The shocks mate well with the springs.

With my larger rear wheels, I did not experience any bottoming out over potholes. I didn't go over many of them, either, though, as my years of driving lowered cars has me avoiding them almost automatically

I replaced them with KW coilovers. The Brabus, although rides very nice, isn't low enough for me

Is the ride better. Any rubbing problems with being lower?

right now, rubbing on the inner fender during a full-lock U-turn, but my new rims will have a more aggressive offset, so that should go away.

Are you interested in the Brabus suspension?
