f/s f/t custom scangauge and mount

i mounted my scangauge in my roof where the airbag light goes it looks great but i want to mount in in the dash now that i choose to run a single DIN deck and will have a pocket

what i propose i will ship my panel and the cover for the scangauge and you can send me your panel and cover for your scangauge
no money out of pocket except your shipping !

we each pay our shipping you get a custom mount if you dont have the time or the tools/patience to do the work and i get to close my hole up and mount it in my dash kit i dont like the pocket under the cdplayer so i want to move it

i dont have a picture anywhere for some reason but im going to go take on with my blackberry in a few min and post it up

it however is a exact copy of cubefx (thanks for the idea)

I might be interested. I'd like to see some pictures of your install and the condition of the overhead panel. I have a SG II and have been thinking about this mod for my '08. If I decide to do it, I can also provide pictures of the same panel in my car.

How difficult is it to remove the A-pillar cover to thread the CAT5 cable through? I'm always afraid I'll break something when it comes to these plastic interior bits and I'm not close to a dealer.

Thanks.

I talked to the wife about it and I considered what you're doing with the stereo. I think I might just go the same route you are and put it in the dash with a different head unit to begin with. I'm also afraid the glare through the roof might be a bit much with the SG mounted up high (I always have the shade open), but thanks for the ideas.

sure no problem

i wanted a double din but cant get the quality i want out of one so im going to do a single din and fill the pocket with the scan gauge cuz i hate the hole

ill probably just make a custom dash kit from abs or fiberglass

but if you are wondering the glare is not a problem i never close my roof visor either

ao is anyone else interested?
