If anyone is interested this salvage yard in Des Moines, Ia. has a 08 smart Passion for sale for $9500. It was hit in the front, air bags are OK, but the lights and grill need to be replaced.
You need to scroll to the bottom of the third page of the site I think.

There are 2 Smarts listed on e-bay right now. One is $9K (I think that is this one) and the other bidding is started at $3K.

It would be fun to find one for a trike project......

Smartah, I hadn't heard of a smart here in DM in a reck. Wounder whose this was. We could get the black hood, grill, and lights off Jim's burnt up smart in Red Wing and have it back on the road in no time. It looked like it has the comfort pac. on it to.
