Smart car book $29 shipped

Hardback book of history of the smartcar. This book answered alot of questions i had about the car. This was an extra book i ordered.

Since the launch of the original two-seater City Coupe in 1999, the SMART marque has achieved wide success throughout Europe. Since then, this model - now sold as the ForTwo - has become a popular sight in every major European city and urban region, particularly in the UK. The SMART is an individual's car, and the availability of a vast range of funky panel designs and accessories enables SMART drivers to stand out from the crowd. Here is a fascinating insight into the design and evolution of the SMART, as well as an essential guide to ownership.
$29.00 shipped in the 48 states

I picked up "the little book of smart" by Paul Jackson, printed by Veloce Publishing. It's small at 5.5 inches (square) but it's got large glossy pictures and a quite accurate history of the smart. I think this can be purchased for around $10 at discount book sites such as Amazon. It even fits in the car, nicely, and the photos are gorgeous.

I read Smart Thinking by Tony Lewin and really enjoyed it. It reads like a story with lots of info on how everything came to be, and almost didn't a bunch of times. There were some amazing characters and of course lots of drama in building smart. It was a fun read.

I've ordered all three of the books from Amazon. I figure I'll need something to read while waiting for my confirmation email (ETA 2011).

I figure I can start collecting Smart car swag to keep me occupied as well.

Jeff in Atlanta.
