$1200 is a little steep for spares, it would be a good deal for someone with a pure that wants to upgrade. I think I would like a spare to keep in the garage but I do not need four unless they were real cheap.

Not only for Pure models, but to put on the front of a Passion and have a spare. Since the dealer gets $317 each for the wheels, and say $75 each for tires it looks like a fair deal to me.....but then again I just bought two new rims, buying new Michelin tires for better ride and I will be trying to sell a Passion front tire and wheel and two rear Continential tires with very low mileage.

My understanding is that the rims themselves are $850 each from the dealer, without tires.
