Hello, My name is Dave and I'm pleased to join the communtiy of Smart owners here. Its Sunny here today and a wonderful day in the neighborhood...............I'm a newbie Smart Car guy, and I'm looking forward to posting my second message shortly this afternoon. It will be a more formal introduction, and explain the reasoning behind my Smart car purchase. I'll upload pic's of the New 2010 Smart Pure as soon as it arrives. Oh! I forgot to mention that I acquired it yesterday. I"m currently awaiting physical delivery of the car here from my ( The Best) dealer from another state.............The dealer was loading the car onto its auto carrier am this morning and according to their GPS readings, the new darling of the house ( Well not actually a House....lol) will be on premises around 3pm. I'm so excited I can't hardly reserve my thoughts or tears of joy...............Stay Tuned! Regards Dave
The Sun continues to shine LARGE here today and the new Smart car, all dressed in yellow is on deck................literally of sorts, and she will be for at least the next 22 days. But more on that subject line later................ She's (SMILEY's her name)
a Beauty and Smart too! No doubt about it she's already putting smiles on faces around here! .............. Dave
If your curious..................... SMILEY could be yours soon................

Congrats on the new smart, Dave, and, if I may say so, you have awesome taste in color! Once you get her in and settled, you ought to seriously consider coming to the other side of the state for a weekend (and specific weekend, truth to tell) and join us at the Dragon! We have a modestly-active group in Charlotte, too, and occasionally get to do cool stuff like drive some laps at Lowes Motor Speedway (last year), go to the ZMax track (end of August) and put the smarts through their paces, and dress up our smarties in some cool Santa hats and ride in parades around Christmas. It's a pretty good haul to Charlotte, but, on occasion, might be worth your while.
Looking forward to another smartie on Carolina roads!
Thank You all, Its a pleasure being so kindly welcomed into the SMART ownership family here. I'll have to admit...............that I Really LOVE SMART Cars, and my wife is probably the perfect size for them as an operator/driver @ 5'2". That being said.............she and I both agreed, that for our purposes, buying one and utilizing it, was the SMARTEST thing we could ever do.
It should be obvious to anyone that we've made a wonderful investment in purchasing one, aka SMILEY. The irony is the little beauty ( And she, "SMILEY" is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L) wasn't purchased for our personal use at all................In fact as destiny plays out its hand, and it will.......its more likey a total stranger will end up with her in their automotive stable.
There's a important and imperative reason I've mentioned utilizing it though...............I'll post that reasoning up on my 4th post.
................ and once again our Sincere Regards for the Warm Welcoming to the World of SMART......... Dave

Raffle tickets for this fundraiser are $25.00 and can be bought using Paypal...
Good Morning, I would be grateful if you would like to add the event to smartUSA insider link, and be sure and grab those fishing sticks and join us for the event August 21st if you can. You do realize as well that there aren't any actual requirements you participate in the fishing or even being on site in order, you win SMILEY, buying a donation raffle ticket in of itself offers that opportunity.
It would be wonderful also having an entire caravan of Smart car owners and their pride and joys here on the day of the give away. If anyone would like to schedule putting together a GTG in conjuction with attending.......please do it, just let me know.
Once again I appreciate your help and concerns, passing along the info, and posting the Charity link in appropriate locations elsewhere on this site............helping others, too me, it seems, is always the SMART thing to do.
Best Regards Dave
