HiYa Mark. There are a few for sale here on the forums in the same section here where you posted looking for one. Also might want to try getting on the orphan lists of your local dealership{s}. If you haven't already done so you'll probably want to go ahead and make your $99 reservation. Also try eBay and craigslist. Quite a few listed those places as well.

sorry, my bad. i've just had alot of experience dealing with 'scams' and such and with the broken english and the email address and screen name not really making any sense, just looked a bit suspicious........should "mark123" or "Brandon Huggins" care to PM me, i'll be glad to appologize to him personally.

Totally lighten up.... it is funny how sensitive people are on here. I for one just took delivery of my Smart and have to sell it. On boy... did I just say that on here?

Ordered last year... pre-knowing we were going to have a baby on the way. Baby arrives ... so smart is now not so smart for us.

But, it seems like I would be ridiculed if I put it up for sale. Oh well... it is for sale! Availble now in Southern California. faulknerjohn@verizon.net if you would like to discuss more.

no, i doubt that anyone would ridicule you or anyone else for having to sell your smart.

i believe that i and a few others took "mark123"s thread as a possible 'scam' since "mark123" says his name is "Mark" in other posts (he only made about 4-5 before starting this thread) yet his email addresss is "brandonhuggins...."? also, i believe that on the same day earlier he posted that he was 'not ready yet' to buy a smart and then a short time later says "I want to buy Passion Coupe". so which is it? and to top it off, there's the bad grammar/broken English. either he's NOT 28 or NOT from around here, as many 'scammers' are.

there was an earlier post from someone who wanted to buy 20-30 cars/mo and send to Asia. he wanted someone to 'help' him with that. either there are some really 'out of touch with reality' people out there or alot of scammers. i can see it may be both.

as i said before, i've just had a lot of experience dealing with internet scams and such and too many things didn't 'add up'. if it weren't a scam, i would have expected him to come out and defend himself. other than a quick reply of 'sorry i asked for something', he has not. apparently NOT a "New Yorker" as everyone knows a real New Yorker wouldn't take that!!!

just my side of it. i also said that if "Mark" would PM me, i would appologize to him personally, but also...he has not.

it seems that we take this forum very seriously and i for one want to keep anyone from being 'used' or 'taken' because of the love for this little car.

be smart......don't believe everything you read on the internet! (well, except MY posts! )
