Smart Cabrio 2008 for Sale in Florida

I bought my car in Canada and took it to Orlando as a show car for the Golf Industry Show in Feb. The transporter returning it to Canada has gone out of business and I'd prefer to sell it where it is.

It has a custom built one of a kind golf bag rack on the back and the wide tires on the wider tims, 195/50-15's all around (Bridgestone Potenza's). These tires are very turf friendly and the car was one of the hits of the show.

I am looking to get the invoice values back, the car has about 700km/430mi on it. It has every option except leather. It's white with the silver tridion, has the best audio, fog lights etc.

I will see your replies, I can't leave an email adress yet.

I'm assuming this is a Canadian spec car registered in Canada; anyone buying it here will be "importing" the car and trying to register it without any paperwork or EPA certification, I believe. Could be a big issue.

Not if they have a Canadian address of any sort.

Those wheels looks like stock ones. Did you put rear wheels on the front too? How does it drive?

Nice rack.

Nice rack.
Yes the front wheels are two of the stock (Mercedes) rear ones, mounted all around with Bridgestone Potenza tires 195/50-15. They are fully legal in that they do not protrude from the fenders (don't need fender skirts).

I had the car wide open on a Florida freeway and it is TOTALLY solid with these wheels. Also, the tires have a very friendly reverse tread that doesn't rip up grass. An expert at the golf show said the car had a compression rating of 8-9lbs/sq ft, where 12 is acceptable and the human foot is 6.

So you can drive this car, with its spin and skid control brains, anywhere on a golf course that regular carts can go, and do less damage. And you can park it by your condo there for the wife's use between rounds.

The rack is the only one in the world too, you could proabably sell a nice quantity of those over time.. The price includes the domain and brand name smart-cart.org, FWIW. :-)
