Regarding the side scoop, would too much water collect in the rain?

water will not collect and if it did it would not matter. What happeneds when you wash you car, water gets in the factory one regardless

The bottom of the airscoop does not touch 100% flush with the body, so any water inside the scoop drips out.

Your Smart looks fantastic, but IMO just one thing spoils it, the stickers on the window.

I think they are subtle enough that it isn't really distasteful. Looks great!

A scoop is in my future. Not sure if it'll be distant or near.

Nice touch with the mop & bucket.

Thanks for your feedback.
As far as the decals on the window the reason they are there is my smart im building will be a show car. Most showcars have atleast 2-3 decals usualy representing their car club team and sponsors. All of my decals are clean and discrete but have meaning.
The "Elite" decal represents the Car Club that im apart of. Go to www.EliteDriven.com.
The "Auto Rescue" decal represents the company I work for doing roadside assistance because I am a auto technician and that company requires me to have their logo on my smart since it is the vehicle I use for roadside assistance. Originaly Im supposed to have a huge magnet on the side of my door and a bright yellow and red decal. However after alittle negotiation I convinced them to allow me to have the decal in black in silver and as far as the huge door magnet. Since the magnets wont stick on the wonderful crafted dent resistant smart panels Im not required to have them on my vehicle. You may ask why use the smart for work...I like the tax right off incentive.
Lastly The "DUB" decal represents of course the DUB magazine and show series for 2009. If you are anywhere on the east coast look out for my smart at most indoor DUB and HIN* (Hot Import Night) car shows.

Well I still have a long way before my smart is complete however I appreciate everyones support on SCOA and positive feedback as my car slowly comes alive.
