Aftermarket Spark Plug Wires for SMART

Has anyone investigated using aftermarket spark plug wires on the SMART FourTwo? I know there are some improved plug wires out there but not sure if anyone has tried this on their SMART.

Thanks in advance

I can't speak for kstone, but I have replaced stock wires before with upgrade wires, before they needed replacing. I don't know a whole lot about cars. A stock car racing buddy of mine convinced me to do it.
No, haven't done this in my smart.

I thought it uses coil over plug, that means no spark plug cables. 451 1000cc smarts that is.

I am 99% sure it is coil on plug so you need no plug wires. The older smarts had wires but they also had 6 spark plugs. We have no wires and only have 3 plugs.

You are correct. Courtesy of Fredvon4:
