After these intervening weeks, any further feedback on personal experience with the Breathless Performance scoop and the Panimex scoop offered by Smart Madness? The Madness folks have discontinued the Breathless carbon fiber scoop. I have sort of mixed feelings about appearance of the Panimex scoop (but it's sometimes difficult to judge from photos).

This is a great part and I hope someone over here works out a deal to carry it, I only hope the price won't double or triple in the process.

They will get you on shipping. My guess is $25 when it costs $6 to ship it insured.

Panimex

I have had the Evil Twin and Panimex. The latter is still on the car. I lost the Evil Twin somewhere between home and work. Screws pulled right out. Fortunately the new Panimex covered the damage...
Panamex makes a lot of other products for the likes of Boeing, Mercedes and Ferrari. There was actual research done in that air scoop design. I still think it looked worse in the box that on the car.

Without a doubt, the best looking and best fitted scoop I've seen to date is the one jetfuel hand made for his car. Maybe he'll post some photos - it is nice!

Thanks to those who responded with personal emails about the Panimex scoop. Actually, I wound up with the carbon fiber version of the Evil Twin. Cisco at Smartcar-Performance suggested I look at it on eBay (admirable, it isn't one of the products he himself sells). I very much like the appearance, but will keep an eye on the fasteners. Seems like something like #4 screws might be more secure. Scoop (and other goodies such as Brabus handle for rear window) arrived from UK in six days, very fair combined shipping charges from Smart Car Bits vendor.

I agree that bigger screws are called for I would recommend countersunk #6 as the way to go.. perhaps some trim washers
