Alignment after spring install

Has anyone had their car aligned after installing after market springs? If so where did you take it and how much did it cost?
I just installed a set of H&R springs and the paper work says to make sure you have you alignment checked after install. I called a very good local shop but they said they can't do it. It has to be done by the dealer. I called the dealer and they said they would do it for around $220.00 !!

Keep lookin'.
Check independent repair shops.
The Hunter alignment machine I use almost daily has had specs for the smart for almost a year.
If it's adjustable, a good alignment tech can take care of you.

There is a certain trick to removing the 21mm nut on the front struts. If the indie shop has the right tools everything will be quite straight forward.

edit: stupid me. You asked about alignment. Still, question applies.

Where in Calif are you located? I maybe able to recommend a few shops with laser alignment.

I got my springs installed by my local Smart Center and the alignment was part of the whole process. ...all rolled into one cost.
