Anybody have this exhaust?

Hi,
Anybody have this exhaust? Any pics or opinions? I was looking for a quieter exhaust and didn't want to dish out the cash for a brabus system so this should work out nice.

I don't have this exhaust, however you can do a search for Breathless exhaust and you'll find a thread which discusses a lot of the center exhaust options. There aren't any quiet center exhausts except the Brabus exhaust. They are all loud. I had a Breathless exhaust V3, but I sold it because it was too loud.

Also if you get a Brabus exhaust then you'll need a rear skirt to fit it, because it sits much higher up than all the aftermarket center exhausts which are made for your stock valence. You can take a look at what my Breathless looked like on my Smart with a Brabus rear skirt to see what I mean. I'm told all center external exhausts sit rather low. I suppose you could cut rather high on the stock valence if you get a Brabus exhaust, but it probably wouldn't look right for the money. I have a Brabus rear skirt off a Black Brabus if you are interested. I no longer need it now that I've decided to sell my Passion. I also have a Smart Brabus. I don't have a Brabus exhaust though to sell. There was one a couple of weeks ago that sold on ebay for a mere $489 and then someone several months ago was trying to sell one on here for $700. Other than that I haven't seen any others for sale.

Anybody have any pics of this exhaust installed. They told me to use door edge trim from home depot to cover the part of the valence that I will have to cut if I use this exhaust but I don't know how that will come out....any pics?

Since we have them all in stock or have customers with them on a car I can try to rate them for sound. The first being the quietest and the last being the loudest.

1. Stock
2. Remus/BRABUS
3. Solo
4. Borla
5. DTH/Breathless Touring
6. Breathless Sport

Not sure about the genius, but since they use the same resonator as Breathless we imagine the sound will be close to the same.

Hope this helps.

You can also simply sand the edges a bit. That is all we do and it comes out nice and clean.

You didn't include the MJM straight out the back!

Hopefully I can find a used Brabus. Is the solo noticeably louder than the Brabus?

BTW I have nothing against loud exhaust. I got straight pipes on my motorcycle.

Hi Boris,

Do you really have the Borla in stock? Enquiring minds want to know.

I think he stated in the past that he heard the Borla on one of his customers cars.
