Anyone have any ideas as to how to take the factory installed graphics off?

I bought an orphan and unfortunately, got stuck with one with graphics on the sides. They look a little 80s to me. They are not painted on, they look sticker-like and the car is only about a month old so they are not too stuck on yet. Has anyone had theirs removed with any luck? What is the best way to do it? I'm putting plain racing stripes on (vinyl) once I get these graphics off. Thanks for any help!

Hair drier or heat gun?

Proper removal is to use a hair drier or CAREFULLY use a heat gun.
start at a corner and peel back a little at a time.

Should come off without any residue, but if there is then use "Goop off" very sparringly.

About the heat gun, I read somewhere that it should be at its LOWEST setting. And "industrial" heat guns are a no-no because they are too hot and will melt the plastic. Beware!

Thanks for all your advice. I'm taking my Smart to the Smart center in Orlando to have them taken off and the racing stripes applied. Wish me luck.

A hair dryer on high works well. Get the surface area warm. 140+ If you leave it outside in the sun it will speed the process. Take a plastic spatula and use the edge to get it started. Goo off works but Glue off works best. You can get it at Aluma-Panel | Supply Company.
Let me know if you run into problems we're in Merritt Island, FL

The graphics are just grey/black swirls. It almost looks like someone scraped the side of the car.
