Ordinarily, I'd do this work myself. But it's so cold it will be months until I can get to this. So I'm glad the dealer agreed to do the work. I'll let you know the final charge. This is "Nate's" first one, so I'll be the test case!

Has anyone had a problem with the dealer not being able to check the computer on the car because of the Cruise Control. My dealer said they could not check it correctly. So I had to bring it home and unplug the module. I didn't want to go through the whole pin removal fiasco again, so I just put a jumper across all nine pins since the wires are the same. Took it back to the dealer so they can check the car again monday. The thread is here of how it all started. Ham radio and smart car battle
Anyone else have the dealer say the cruise control messes up the computer reading on the car?
I installed the Cruise Control back in September and it has been no problem.

There is a 3rd party taking care of shipping this 1 item only while Steve is gone.

Try again, it should work all right. I took it all the way to the PayPal login screen

The dealer installed the control for two hours labor. $220 with tax. It does work very well indeed. I love the unit.

Install it yourself, even for a first timer it is only a few hours. I can offer support with the install if needed, I'm an authorized dealer.
