LOL...She is always telling me that if I would only ask, she is quite willing to "help" me in the garage. Now this is from a woman that said when we first met, "All one needs is one of those funny cross kind and a flat kind screwdrivers and one hammer in a toolbox." And I'm a guy that has a garage filled with over $50,000.00 worth of tools (retired millwright and industrial electrician)! Go figure...

I wonder how she'd describe a Torx driver

All one needs is a flat kind screwdriver to take care of those pesky torx.

My install was fine, except for the stupid pins. I finally got a piece of wire of the right guage. I definitely do not consider this a typical self-install. Plus once the pins are in, no clue how you ever going to get this thing out of your car. ;-)

THAT SAID... this cruise control is amazing. It locks in to your speed and does not waver no matter what (wind changes, uphill, downhill, etc.). It provides an amazing smooth ride. If only the cruise in my Mazda 3 was as good.

I don't miss additional (speed up, coast) controls. You just hold it down to go up a little and turn it off/back-on to slow down a bit.

Though the light can be hard to see.

Cruise Control

Mine works great!

Had it installed at Autotoyz in Charlotte. Cost only $75.00.

I just finished my install and it went perfect. I didn't have one bit of trouble with the pins so I don't know what everyone is frettting over, it was a piece of cake.

The cruise control operates great and I am very glad I bought it. Now I can steer the car with my right arm resting on my right leg (no armrest).

I did remove the seat for 2 reasons, 1. to hide the wire better and 2. to take the opportunity to vacuum under the seat.

Did you find it difficult to remove the seat, I've seen other posts here that indicate the bolts were very tight? It certainly would make routing the wire easier. 25MM if I recall?

Do you feel there is sufficient wire to make the route without removing the seat? My kit is "in the mail"!

Garage
I was still able to route under the seat without removal. You can do it. It just takes a little work but much less than seat removal.
