Correct,
I did tried plastic armrest at the dealership and it was too wobbly and as much I like to drill and cut holes in my car I felt very uncomfortable to put the screws in the firewall without knowing what behind it (it easily could be electrical wires, brake or fuel lines).

Armrest is about 3.1" wide. Because in our cars driver seat is more forward then the passenger seat, armrest can be shared. I drove this morning with my wife and if I keep my elbow on the armrest and my right hand on the steering wheel, she still have about 2/3 of the armrest and could use it very comfortable.

Nice. By the way great photo gallery, you've done some awsome mods. Hope no ones searching for their pre flight safety flag, or worse yet, not looking for it.

JOHNSTEICHEN said that he can make it for $50 and 25 hrs of labor. So $150-$50=$100.
$100 / 25hrs = $4/hour.

If he wants to get rich, he will need to work A LOT of hours.

Hey Cube - those compliment the armrest quite well and would be nice. I was think more along the lines of the armrest just staying a solid piece to keep things slick and even.

The holes in the door handles fit the bill.

And where can the door handles be found? I Googled "smartdot" and found nothing.
