not to thread jack but im curious about this too im thinking the DTH system with the header too although i bet that kills the cat and i live in NY so i wont legally pass emissions that way

Make sure the system is fully warrantied by the seller.

I ordered my Borla dual center about two months ago and thought I'd give an update. The executive summary is that I still don't have it.

I ordered it from a local dealer. When I ordered it, he told me that he places bulk buys from Borla of $8K worth of product to get free shipping, and he was up front with me that it could be 4 to 6 weeks before he actually ordered the exhaust. He was spot on -- it was 6 weeks before he placed the order.

Now we are waiting for Borla! It seems that Borla didn't have any to ship, and that they would be manufacturing a batch of smart exhaust sometime in July.

So, the wait continues.... Grrr....

I wanted to give the local dealer some business, and was OK with waiting for him. But I'm a little grumpy Borla is out of stock. Anecdotal evidence is that Borla perhaps hadn't manufactured any of these exhausts just yet.....

Let me know when remus makes a twin center exaust that does not come out below the rear skirt.. I have an s-mann body kit and I need the tips to come out higher the last one Boris mailed me did not work.. I love the sound of the remus and the quality is the best... I am not really happy with my Doug Thoury exhaust... it way to loud for me!

I talked with Alvin at Borla last week about delivery times. The tooling just got sent to their Tennesee manufacturing plant recently. They have not delivered any Smart systems as of yet. I have a ship date of June 30th, but it first was June 2nd and then June 13th. If its any consolation, the new Camaro owners are waiting too!

This exhaust has been on the market for a while. Nice sound, much quieter than Breathless, better sounding than stock Brabus.

I ordered from Remus USA back in May. They told me they were back ordered through the end of June. Haven't shipped yet.

I checked back with Remus USA today. They said that they wouldn't be receiving any units from Austria until August.

I'm tired of waiting. I cancelled my order with Remus and ordered the unit from SmartMadness. It's $80 more expensive, but timing is everything.

Hey, that's still not a bad deal. I work at a dealership parts dept and I always have people come in and ask 'how much' and after I tell them, for example, that it's $29.99 and IN STOCK. Then they respond with '...but I can get it from XYZ Motors for only $20.00!' I ask them 'then why didn't you get it from them?' and of course their comeback is 'THEY DIDN'T HAVE IT'.

Oh, I say....."...anything WE don't have we sell for only $1.50".
