KW has a distribution/warranty center just down the road from me and are telling me that their german division has a set of coil overs in development too.

Anyways, fact is that this car needs a full suspension solution, not just lowering springs.

Sweet! I know SmartMadness was working on a set but I have no idea where they are on development.

nader - yes, KW has a Variant 2 in the works as well. KW's are also very nice, and would've bought those if available. When I called KW, they did not have any ETA. I would be happy with either the Bilstein or KW setup.

Sun- I've been talking with Boris about their coilover setup. It's still in development over in Germany. I don't think it will be on the market soon enough for my needs, wants, and desires

I decided to be proactive, and got lucky at the same time. I called Bilstein and KW for udpates on a US release date. Bilstein is really close - they even gave me a part number.

I then decided to give Works a call beause I recall a thread here mentioning that they developed their own springs and swaybars.

As it turns out, their springs and swaybars are ready, but the springs don't lower the car as much as I want. So I asked about a coilover. They are not developing one, but mentioned they sell Bilstein, so I told Pete that the PSS was really close to being released. He made some calls, pulled some strings, and was able to get 2 sets!!!

So, if anyone else is looking for this set, give him a call.

My Bilstein PSS' arrived yesterday! Took a bit longer to arrive than I expected, but they're here. I am going to try and find time to get them installed later today.

Pics to come...
